Dr. Hanson received his doctorate (2007) in Naturopathic Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine located in Portland, Oregon; one of the leading Naturopathic medical schools in the United States and the oldest school for natural and integrative medicine. After a 2-year residency in Orlando, Florida in Integrative Medicine, Dr. Hanson began work at The Nevada Center in 2010. Dr. Hanson also works with Dr. Shallenberger to train health care providers in the Prolozone technique.
